Foot pain is super common, and can range from mild to severe. There are lots of different conditions that may be causing it, like plantar fasciitis, bunions, hammer toes, and heel spurs. Plantar fasciitis is when the band between your heel and toes gets overused or injured, and it can be pretty painful. Bunions are bony bumps that form on the side of your big toe joint, usually caused by wearing tight shoes or having an inherited foot type. Hammer toes curl down and get stiff due to a ligament contracture in the toe joint, and heel spurs are bony growths on the bottom of your heel bone that can really hurt when you walk.
